John Neudorf has been very active in the music industry for the past 10 years, studying jazz at college, first as a drummer,
and later taking the guidance of vocal instructor Rosemary Burns, who channeled John's ability and started the journey forward
into singing and the blues. John performed with the band "Kidney Stew". As the blues career began,
John found himself fronting bands with classic blues players such as Mel Brown and special guest appearances with Matt "Guitar"
Murphy. At the same time, John began learning the jazz song book and performing with local players throughout the Niagara
Region. Building confidence and technique at a consistent pace led him to study with "Down Beat" jazz vocalist of
the year Mark Murphy. John then went to perform at some of Toronto's top jazz clubs, "The Top of the Senator" with
the Mark Eiseman Trio and "The Montreal Bistro". Currently, John has formed a dynomite Jazz Quintet
with Tom Szczesniak on Piano, Mike Francis on Guitar, Pat Collins on Bass, and Bob McLaren on drums, to launch a new CD.
The Quintet has captured the true and timeless sounds of Jazz and Blues, from the popular styles of Frank Sinatra
to the depths of Duke Ellington. With the history of John's extensive blues background, combined with his explosive
jazz scatt and warm phrasing, John Neudorf is a must see.
